Grandma Mary came from Italy to America at the turn of the century as a child of 4. She baked a lot. One of her many desserts was the Italian biscotti “S” cookie.
Her daughter Rose began baking them while Mary was recovering from a hand injury. She continued to do so adjusting the recipe to suit her husband Dominick’s taste. Thus the recipe is what it is today – Rose’s Cookies.
They are nice, plain, buttery, homemade cookies. Everyone loves them. No one can eat just one. Right?
Rose’s daughter thinks so. And so the legacy continues as these unbelievably delicious cookies are brought to you.
Marie, her daughter
P.S. Thanks to all my wonderful friends who helped me along the way. You are truly beautiful women!!!
